About the Role

We’re looking for an Assistant Underwriter to join our energetic Perth Underwriting team. This role will assist with the day to day underwriting processes of our SME portfolio.

**This role will see responsibility for**:
Ensuring timely delivery of the following renewal processes for the Financial Lines and Accident & Health “small-business” renewal portfolios:
Extracting and uploading Renewal information to DUAL’s systems
Issuing renewals and new business quotations to brokers. Assisting brokers with all stages of the quotation process, including conversion of indications or quotations to bound policies, issuing documentation, mid-term adjustments and endorsements

Maintaining consistent “Fast Track” Binding Ratios and Lapse Ratios
Developing and maintaining Broker (client) expectations and working relationships

About You

As a strong communicator with a passion for customer service you will be confident in providing quality service to DUAL’s clients in a timely manner. With a background in insurance or administration you will also demonstrate a strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
