We are looking for 2 X Care Service Employees, must be able to work on 24/7 shifts AM, PM & Night Duties. These individuals will be located in our homely facility at Goulburn Facility. **Click on the link to learn more about Goulburn Residential facility.** **As a Care Service Employee, you will**: - Support residents with self-care including grooming, bathing and dressing - Reporting any changes of resident to the Registered Nurse on the shift duty - Assist with mobility including using mechanical lifting aids and ensuring the residents comfort - Assist in mealtimes and social activities. **Additional benefits** - Provide emotional and social support whilst assisting residents with a range of daily life activities - Comprehensive Induction Program - Genuine career progression pathways - Discounted Health Insurance products - Up to $18K NFP salary packaging, including discounts at major retailers, cinemas and restaurants - Heart HQ - the Southern Cross Care (NSW & ACT) People Platform that is packed with exclusive benefits and features designed to help you Celebrate, Connect and Succeed. - Certificate III in Aged Care / Individual Support/ 2nd year Nursing students who have completed 1 placement. - Working with Vulnerable People Card - Experience in similar role in aged care - A genuine enthusiasm, care and compassion in your commitment to working with elderly people - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team - Respect for all people, regardless of background, age, gender, religion and ethnicity - Flexible to do AM/PM and night shifts The Care Service Employee is responsible for performing basic routine functions and duties within the residential aged care facility.
