**About the role**:
As the Workplace Health and Safety Advisor, you will have responsibility for, but not limited to:

- Providing expert advice on prevention of accidents, hazard identification, environmental and risk issues in relation to students, staff and contractors
- Conduct proactive risk assessments and inspections to identify any hazards
- Facilitate whole school Workplace Health and Safety by
- organise and facilitate WHS Committee meetings (1 per term)
- organise professional development opportunities
- provide advice and support on WHS procedures and guidelines
- Investigate, manage and report on all work injuries and dangerous events that occur at the school
- Develop, implement and maintain WHS procedures and processes across the school in to ensure ongoing compliance
- Manage individual Rehabilitation and Return to Work programs

When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
