**THE POSITION**

Are you passionate about digital innovation in education? Do you thrive on supporting teachers and students to make the most of technology in learning? We are seeking an enthusiastic and collaborative e-Learning Coordinator.

This position would suit a teacher or other qualified person with experience in, and passion for e-learning.

The e-Learning Coordinator is a key collaborator with the various stakeholders, dedicated to promoting and implementing effective pedagogical practices. The e-Learning Coordinator is responsible for supporting teachers and students in the effective integration of technology and digital resources into the teaching and learning processes. This role involves coordinating e-Learning initiatives, providing professional development, and fostering a culture of digital innovation and excellence in education. This role has a focus on targeted education and intervention programs for Digital Citizenship. The e-Learning Coordinator will work collaboratively with teachers, staff, students and parents.

The role reports to the Head of Secondary and Head of Primary.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement innovative e-Learning strategies that enhance student learning and engagement.
- Provide ongoing support and training to teachers in the effective use of technology and digital resources in the classroom.
- Act as a resource person for teachers, helping them find and evaluate digital tools and resources that align with the curriculum and learning objectives.
- Lead the implementation of e-Learning programs and initiatives at the school level, ensuring alignment with the various curriculums from P-12 including PYP.
- Coordinate and facilitate professional development sessions and workshops for teachers and parents on eLearning topics, including digital literacy, online safety, and effective use of educational technology.
- Stay informed about current trends and best practices in educational technology and e-Learning, and share this knowledge with teachers and staff.
- Support the school leadership team in the development and implementation of a comprehensive e-Learning strategy and vision.
- Work collaboratively with other e-Learning Coaches within education networks to share resources, strategies, and best practices.
- Collect and analyse data on the effectiveness of e-Learning initiatives, and use this information to inform future planning and decision-making.
- Collaborate with other school staff (such as technology support personnel and learning support teachers) to integrate e-Learning into all aspects of the school program.
- Research, develop and implement a suitable Learning Management System to be utilised from P-12.
- Support students and parents in developing digital literacy skills and responsible digital citizenship, both within and outside the classroom.
- Actively contribute to a safety citizenship culture upholding health and safety policies, procedures, hazard reporting and safe work practices.

**EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES**

- Demonstrated experience in integrating technology into teaching and learning.
- Proven ability to develop a technology platform that both supports and challenges e-learning and the use of technology in learning.
- Knowledge of the Queensland curriculum and educational standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and students.
- Ability to lead and facilitate professional development sessions.
- Capacity to analyse data and use it to inform decision-making.
- A passion for educational technology and a commitment to lifelong learning.
- A willingness to work with key stakeholders in the e-Learning projects and tasks and seek out new opportunities.

**REGISTRATION EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**

- Must be registered with the Queensland College of Teachers.

**CONDITIONS**

- This position will be fulfilled by a full time Teacher who will receive an allowance and release time as negotiated, in line with a Specialist Role, clause 7.10 of the Moreton Bay College Enterprise Agreement.
- Permanent Teacher appointment with the conditions of the Specialist Role as e-Learning Coordinator in line with Positions of Added Responsibility tenure.
