L&D Coordinator required for leading Not for profit thats dedicated to helping people live a full life
Hays is currently partnered with a disability services company to recruit a Learning & Development Coordinator in a permanent capacity. This not-for-profit organisation provides a range of quality individual and flexible support options including accommodation, employment and training and behaviour support for people with disability and children.
Your new role
This role will actively support the facilitation and coordination of all organisational Learning & Development activities. They will be responsible for implementing a structured calendar of learning in consultation with organisational leaders, employees and external registered training organisations. The position requires a system driven, Learning and Development professional, with excellent attention to detail, who can contribute to the planning and coordination of learning and development activities, and ensure all employees meet their legislative and regulatory training and requirements.
Responsibilities will include:
- Provide professional and timely support in the coordination for annual Learning and
- Development activities
- Ensure that all learning activities provide a positive adult learning experience
- Coordinate the logistics for the delivery of Learning and Development activities including but not limited to invitations, scheduling, room bookings and attendance lists
- Coordinate organisational onboarding and induction processes
- Maintain the HRIS with relevant training compliance data
- Maintain a calendar of learning events for employees and organisational leaders
- Contribute to the development of Learning & Development policies, procedures and documents
- Monitor employee credential compliance in accordance with legislative and regulatory requirements
- Provide regular data on Learning and Development activities and costs
- Assist organisational leaders with understanding best-practice Learning and Development approaches
- Develop learning plans and projects as required
- Monitor and respond to shared mailboxes and calendars ensuring prompt responses and resolutions are provided
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Qualification in Human Resources, Learning & Development or a related/relevant discipline
- Demonstrated experience in a Learning & Development role or similar.
- Practical experience in maximising the use of systems and other e-learning platforms (video conferencing, webinars etc) for effective delivery of learning initiatives
- Knowledge and experience of Learning and Development in the care/support industry
- A level of comfort and familiarity with using technology including HRIS and learning platforms
- Experience with development, delivery and evaluation of Learning and Development programs
- Highly developed organisational skills to successfully manage competing priorities and multiple deadlines
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating L&D activities across multiple sites
- Excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
