About The Role

As an Elders Area Manager, you will be responsible for championing and driving our G.R.E.A.T Northern Strategy across South West Queensland. This is a senior leadership role where you will demonstrate high levels of emotional intelligence and effectively engage, inspire and empower branch leaders in the South West Queensland area to drive customer-focussed results throughout the Elders branch network. With a strong focus on our future and building a sustainable business, you will have demonstrated experience in leading all aspects of area outcomes. In return you will have the support of an experienced and highly engaged network that will invest in your success and development. Your professional growth will be a key focus and you will be supported to be a high performing business and people-leader in within Elders.

**Responsibilities**:
As an Area Manager you will enjoy a day including:

- Inspiring, engaging and empowering your team to utilise their strengths and maximise their potential, while holding them accountable for results
- Partnering with the Elders client-base to provide customer-focussed solutions that strengthen the growth of their businesses.
- Promoting and instilling trust and integrity in the wider Elders branch network and customer base.
- Identifying and cultivating new sales opportunities to strengthen Elders presence and produce exemplary customer outcomes.
- Demonstrating thought leadership and driving the strategy and planning for the South West Queensland Area and State
- Driving the marketing and promotion of all Elders products
- Prioritising the safety of your staff and clients, and actively contributing to Elders’ zero-harm culture
- Inspiring, coaching and mentoring staff in identifying and developing new sales opportunities

About You

- Are an outstanding people leader with a strong knowledge of the agricultural industry including product, sales and people management.
- Can effectively lead, engage and motivate teams to produce exemplary customer experiences and key business outcomes
- Are resourceful, forward thinking and passionate about effecting real change for both your clients and your community
- You are resilient, future focused and inquisitive and can demonstrate a high level of self-awareness
- Are a strong communicator, articulate and can deliver your messages with clarity
- Have an ability to provide a high level of customer service and cultivate relationships with clients
- Have proven capabilities in the management of operations, people and sales and strong negotiation skills
- Can effectively demonstrate emotional intelligence, self -awareness and open communication in engaging with the wider team and customer base
- Own and demonstrate the Elders values
- Although a tertiary qualification is not essential, sound financial knowledge and strong business acumen is required
