Sydney, Australia KPMG Full time

Our Enterprise Technology & System Integration team brings together skills in intelligent automation, data engineering, software integration and cloud platforms to help our clients align their technology capabilities with their strategic and operational objectives. We also draw on KPMG’s extensive national and global resources, adopting a multidisciplinary approach to help unlock the full potential of existing and new technology investments.

As a Cloud Delivery Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in leading the successful delivery of cloud platform implementations, modernisation programs, and migration projects for our clients. Acting as a bridge between technical teams and stakeholders, you’ll manage delivery from a technical project management perspective — ensuring clarity, accountability, and measurable results at every stage.

This is a hands-on delivery leadership role suited to someone with a strong technical background in cloud platforms (particularly Azure, and ideally AWS) who has experience working with clients across various industries to drive cloud adoption and transformation outcomes.

**Your Opportunity**
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of cloud transformation and migration projects for enterprise clients, with a focus on Azure and AWS platforms.
- Oversee technical delivery activities across cloud infrastructure, platform services, and modernisation initiatives.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to align technical solutions with client objectives, timelines, and budgets.
- Define and manage delivery plans, schedules, risks, and issues across multiple workstreams.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during cloud delivery engagements, facilitating clear communication and expectation management.
- Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities across delivery practices.
- Support pre-sales and proposal development with input into project scoping, timelines, and delivery approach.

**How are you extraordinary?**
- You have attention to detail and focus on high-quality output
- You are experienced and comfortable with dealing with ambiguity
- You have demonstratable experience in solving complex problems

**Your Experience**

At KPMG, we believe diversity of thought, background and experience strengthens relationships and delivers meaningful benefits to our people, our clients, and communities. To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills & experience will include:

- You have a strong foundation in cloud technologies with demonstrable experience leading cloud platform and migration projects.
- You are deeply familiar with Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, landing zones, governance), and have experience with AWS in a similar context.
- You’ve worked in client-facing roles within a consulting or professional services environment, where you’ve balanced technical depth with delivery leadership.
- You’re confident managing complex stakeholder environments and navigating delivery risks with a solutions-first mindset.
- You bring structure and clarity to ambiguity and thrive in dynamic, fast-paced project environments.
- You understand the technical implications of delivery decisions and can credibly engage with architects and engineers on design and execution matters.

**Desirable Experience**
- Strong knowledge of Azure landing zones, governance frameworks, and migration strategies
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and cloud-native tooling
- Experience delivering in regulated or enterprise environments

**Additional Information**:
KPMG is a professional services firm with global outreach and deep sector experience. We work with clients across an array of industries to solve complex challenges, steer change and enable growth.

Our people are what make KPMG the thriving workplace that it is and what sets us apart is that we know great minds think differently. Collaborate with a team of passionate, highly skilled professionals who’ve got your back. You’ll build relationships with unique and diverse colleagues who will provide you with the support you need to be your best and produce meaningful and impactful work in an inclusive, equitable culture.

At KPMG, you’ll take control over how you work. We’re embracing a new way of working in many ways, from offering flexible hours and locations to generous paid parental leave and career breaks. Our people enjoy a variety of exciting perks, including retail discounts, health and wellbeing initiatives, learning and growth opportunities, salary packaging options and more.
