**Ravenhall Correctional Centre**

Forensicare is the statutory agency responsible for the provision of adult forensic mental health services across Victoria.

Completed in 2017, the new medium-security men's prison is located at Ravenhall Correctional Centre in Melbourne's west, providing world-class forensic mental health services in Victoria in a purpose-built state of the art facility developed to international best practice standards.

**About the Role**:
The FMH Outpatient Services provide specialist mental health assessment, intervention and support to Prisoners accommodated in mainstream and protection communities within Ravenhall Correctional Centre, who are experiencing, or suspected of experiencing, mental illness. The program consists of four key components:

- Specialist consultations, including specialist outreach consultations
- Intensive Case Management
- Early Intervention and Prevention Service, and
- FMH Referral and Triage Coordination

**Duties**:

- The Program Manager has responsibility and accountability for providing high level management and direction for the overall operation of the outpatient services including planning, development of human, physical and financial resources, and overseeing the delivery of multi-disciplinary services
- The Program Manager will provide leadership and line management/supervision to staff across the outpatient services.
- This position engages with other Ravenhall Correctional Centre managers and service providers across Justice Health, Forensicare, GEO custodial and program staff, to improve and maintain the Program and service’s management, clinical, educational and support activities
- The position must provide direction and support that is aligned to the outcomes of the Forensicare Strategic Plan, the National Mental Health Standards, the Mental Health Act 2014, the Corrections Act 1986 and other relevant legislation, standards and competencies.

**About You**:

- Evidenced experience in leadership and management of
- 5+years post graduate experinece in Mental health
- Excellent communication and stakeholder relations experience

- Postgraduate qualification in Mental Health Nursing or equivalent.
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulations Agency (AHPRA).
