The CEO is a passionate, engaging leader who leads from the front. They have created a role for a right-hand person to manage the finance team and work as the trusted advisor on financial decision-making.

It’s a challenging, dynamic industry with many regulatory, financial and human factors that affect the way they operate. Balancing all of these to ensure the best possible services & care for their clients is the ultimate responsibility

**The Role**:
The role will include:

- Oversee financial reports for presentation to the Board of Directors
- Oversee all fiscal activity including budgeting, reporting, and audits
- Compliance & regulatory review
- Implement a financial controls framework. Working with the CEO & Management team on risk minimisation.
- Strategic leadership including financial planning, and assisting with high-level policy and organisational strategic decision making
- Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships with external auditors, financial institutions, funders, and suppliers
- Prepare monthly reports to the Board of Directors, including progress against KPIs, recommendations for improvements and any other value-add insights

**Your Background**:
Our client is keen to hire an experienced CFO with a proven track record working in the NFP/Charity space.

You will be someone who truly understands the drivers of a non-profit organisation.

You will have extensive experience working with a Board of Directors, strategic management, and financial control including risk frameworks and internal controls.

The right personality is someone passionate about the sector, an approachable leader, and someone empathetic to the challenges these types of organisations face.
