This is an exciting opportunity for a commercial CFO in an Australian-owned B2B business with national operations. Established for many years, the business has successfully expanded nationally seeks to grow further.

Partnering the CEO, the commercial aspects of this role are key, and you will have a track record of developing and reviewing business cases supported by quality financial metrics and commercial insights. You will play a key role in assessment of new business opportunities, ensuring commercially beneficial decisions are made in alignment with business strategy.

The key elements of the role are commercial support, and business partnering as part of the leadership team in a complex business, and managing a range of senior stakeholders.

You will lead a professional team to ensure disciplined financial control, and continue to enhance and optimise management information, and implement improved processes and systems.

You will work with relevant stakeholders in multiple locations to support their business units, and ensure reliable and accurate delivery of information.

We are looking for proven experience working as a successful CFO in a growing privately owned businesses. A background in B2B and B2C products and services would be well regarded, but most the important qualities are commercial input and influence on new business opportunities, and gravitas and communications skills to manage a range of relationships around the business.
