As a Support Worker your role will be to assist a diverse range disability clients with activities of daily living and providing support services such as Domestic Assistance, Social Support, and Personal Care at their home and in the community.

Located Northern Suburbs of Adelaide

**Position 1: Female Support Worker (Community-Based)**
Female, aged 30+
Able to teach and support life skills
Interested in fitness and healthy living
Available at least 3 days per week (minimum 2 hours per day)
Ready to start ASAP **Position 2: Support Worker (SIL House)**
Open to male or female
Medication trained (or willing to learn)
Experience with diabetes support (preferred)
Strong availability, including on-call shifts
Great communication and teamwork skills
Ready to start ASAP

Key Responsibilities
- Promote Client Choice and control by positive routines and activities ensuring they are meaningful to them.
- Ability to be on call for last minute shift covering.
- Proactive in supporting clients to enhance their life choices both at home and in the community
- Report changes in client's health, care plans or if additional services are needed
- Take reasonable care of your own health and safety and the health and safety of others within the workplace.
- Protect the rights and confidentiality of clients by ensuring the the care provided maintains client dignity and privacy
- About you
- A Certificate III or higher in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability or Individual Support (desirable)
- Current and valid Full Driver’s Licence, insured, reliable motor vehicle and smart mobile phone
- Capacity to embrace a role that is meaningful for the community and yourself
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with a customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage time

You will be hired as a causal employee, you will meet clients first and they will decide if you are a right fit and then you will be offered a job

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $30.61 per hour

- DCSI Check (required)
- Working with Children Check (required)
