**About Us**

Bloom Support Options was established in 2020 to provide targeted disability support that empowers NDIS participants to achieve their goals and reach their full potential. We offer Groups, Assistance with daily living, community access, mentoring, and respite, with a strong focus on social inclusion and skill development, especially within our groups.

At Bloom, we work holistically with families, carers, and therapists to ensure our support is tailored, person-centred, and growth-oriented. Our group programs encourage community engagement and foster independence through shared experiences.

**About the Role**

This is an opportunity to join a supportive, inclusive, and values-driven team with a commitment to ongoing training and development.

Support Workers play a vital role in the day-to-day wellbeing and personal development of participants. You’ll work alongside individuals to help them achieve the goals outlined in their NDIS plans, always placing their voice and choice at the centre.

You’ll provide a range of supports including:

- In-home assistance
- Personal care and hygiene support
- Community access
- Domestic and household tasks
- Group work and social programs
- Overnight support and transport

Support Workers also contribute to our Bloom Social Groups — including Sports, Cooking, Community, and Gaming — where you’ll support multiple clients in building interpersonal and relationship skills.

All support is delivered in line with the National Disability Services Standards and relevant legislation, with a strong emphasis on rights-based advocacy and respectful care.

**About You**

This role suits someone with a person-centred approach, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for making a difference. You’re energetic, adaptable, and comfortable supporting clients with a range of needs — including personal care — in both individual and group settings.

To be successful, you’ll need/will need to obtain before employment:

- Police clearance
- NDIS worker screening check
- Mandatory notification training (Child Safe Environments)
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate (including CPR)
- Manual Handling (Health Care)
- Flexibility with working hours and travel
- Commitment to Work Health & Safety best practices

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to a group interview as part of the selection process. All Bloom Support Options employees undertake mandatory training relevant to their role.

Support Workers are paid in accordance with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award [MA000100] and Social and Community Services Award [AN150140] (SA).

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $33.94 - $44.59 per hour
