The Best Care Coordinator - Custodial Health works collaboratively with senior managers, clinical/non-clinical staff, and consumers to support an effective, co-ordinated, organisation-wide approach to quality system development and implementation.
The primary focus of this work can be summarised under the following headings:
- Patient Safety
- Patient Feedback
- Quality system capability
- NSQHS/other designated Standard support
- Clinical practice improvement
The Best Care Coordinator plays a role in ensuring that Western Health’s approach to quality improvement remains contemporary, focused and based on the best available evidence.
**To be Successful in this role you**:
- Hold a tertiary qualification in a health discipline, social sciences or related field
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a consultative and collaborative approach and proven ability to build productive working relationships with a range of stakeholders
- Be familiar with the management and review of incidents, patient feedback and improvement activities

The Best Care Coordinator plays a role in ensuring that Western Health’s approach to quality improvement remains contemporary, focused and based on the best available evidence.This role works collaboratively with the Division of Women's & Children's and provides expert knowledge and leadership regarding safety, quality, improvement and clinical governance activities.Maternity experience would be advantageous to the success of this role.To be Successful in this Role you- Have demonstrated experience and success in a similar role
