**What this opportunity involves**:
As the Assistant Facilities Manager you’ll manage the day-to-day facility operations and client activities for an assigned property portfolio within Brisbane.

You’ll support key stakeholders and the client as the key point of contact for facility operations, assuming responsibility for site budgets, accounting, finance, maintenance and operations of equipment/assets.

**An Overview of the role**:
Assist account manager in vendor procurement and management practices of various client sites.

Review scope of works and ensure renegotiation and tendering, including documentation and evaluation

Coordinate and monitor the contractor management program

Ensure all financial management requirements are completed in a timely and accurate manner

Implement building procedures and performance measures

Asset management and lifecycle forecasting

Manage preventative and planned maintenance programme to minimise maintenance, repair and replacement costs

Oversee property inspections and risk management programs, identifying risks regarding OH&S, fire safety, essential services and environmental

Develop initiatives and strategies that lead to cost savings and service improvement

Review monthly financial reports including the preparation of accruals and variance analysis

Qualifications in facilities, building, business or other related field and/or experience in facilities, property management

Experience within commercial and industrial assets

Knowledge of local OH&S requirements and understanding of critical facilities, compliance and statutory regulations

Vendor management for specialised services

Ability to understand and interpret commercial contracts

Strong budget management and financial analysis skills
