This role will put you in the centre of the creative process supporting the delivery of creative and unique marketing campaigns.

About the role:

As the Photography Assistant, you will be supporting the technical, creative, and operational elements of the studio run seamlessly. Taking direction from the senior creative team, you will ensure the effective management of lighting, computer software, and actively providing real-time feedback on creative direction, lighting and accuracy in accordance with the briefing. Post-Shoot, the Photography Assistant reviews and edits the imagery, prepares final files, readies the content for upload. Delivering a high-quality finished product, the ideal applicant will be detail oriented and consistent in the work that they produce.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively manage the production of quality eCommerce imagery and product shots in line with creative briefs.
• Monitor and edit the capture of images in real time, ensuring accuracy and efficiency of resources.
• Manipulate and control lighting, objects, and output to produce a high quality, professional outcome.
• Proactively identify and rectify issues with colour, focus, exposure, and composition during and after the shoot.
• Make image selects, edits, and crops of all incoming e-commerce photography.
• Maintain a clean, accessible, and professional studio environment, including the safe and responsible handling of equipment and product.

Skills and Experience

Required:

• A tertiary qualification in Photography or a similar discipline
• Proficient experience in using Adobe Photoshop, Capture One, or similar professional grade imagery software.
• Intermediate experience in MS Office and Google Docs programs
• 1-2 years of photography studio experience

Highly Regarded

• Strong understanding of systems and processes centralised around professional photography programs and ecommerce platforms.
• eCommerce Photoshoot Experience
