**The Opportunity**

We’re all here to help deliver greater retirement outcomes for our members. Your role supports UniSuper doing this by enabling and coaching the recently established Data office in agile principles, facilitating key ceremonies to drive delivery and optimising the release pipeline by organising outcomes into regular sprints.

This role will have end to end responsibility for building iterative delivery methodologies in a cross functional data insights practice. You’ll iterate using a variety of ways of working, with a focus on quality.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Ability to lead, educate, coach, and develop others in Agile frameworks, techniques, processes, and tools.
- Lead planning, team learning and adaption of processes to ensure the quality of team solutions.
- Promoting quality practices to assist the teams in constantly improving the quality of their deliverables and meeting the Definition of Done (DoD).
- Clearing blockages and coordinating effort between team members.
- Helping the team to predict their delivery capacity, and track and report on velocity.
- Producing reports on team delivery, trends, waste / blockages.
- Regular iteration planning that focusses on the highest priority work.
- Facilitated team retrospectives that lead the team in continual improvement.
- Removing roadblocks to the team’s delivery and providing transparency to stakeholders across the fund on our progress.
- Strong understanding of core data concepts, technologies and SDLC.

**About You**

We are looking for individuals who have worked in fast moving transformation environments and are comfortable working with a degree of ambiguity.

As this role is within our data office domain, experience in data/insights concepts is highly preferred, but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated experience playing the role of Scrum Master/Iteration Manager in an Agile Team (or across several teams) (mandatory)
- Demonstrated experience in Agile leadership, team facilitation, continuous improvement and introducing agile to teams with little or no experience (mandatory)
- Experience working with various stakeholders and external teams to ensure team impediments are removed and dependencies are met so that the team can progress towards committed sprint and release goals
- Agile accreditation in either SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), SCRUM, ICAgile, or other similar accreditation is highly desirable
- A background in financial services industry is preferred, with exposure to Data/insights concepts, technologies and SDLC
