Gym Receptionist

WE ARE A 24/7 STAFFED GYM. **THIS ROLE IS TO COVER SHIFTS OVER CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR PERIOD**, WITH ONGOING EMPLOYMENT FOR THE RIGHT CANDIDENT.

We prides ourselves on our customer service and making everyone feel welcome in our club. We love having a good chat with our members and creating a community within our 4 walls.

We are after roles in the following: Casual Receptionist AND Overnight Receptionist

**Job Summary**:
As a receptionist, you are the face of the club and will always greet members with a warm smile. You will have a thorough knowledge about the club and its facilities, as well as the standards and mottos we live by, we aren’t just a gym. But most importantly, provide exceptional customer service to whoever walks through our doors

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Generate, process and manage membership sales and active accounts
- Assist the manager in basic administrative duties
- Cash handling and POS
- Answer incoming phone calls and effectively conduct outgoing calls
- Ensure the cleanliness of reception and the gym floor

**Essential Skills**:

- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to multi task
- Fast learner
- The ability to listen patiently and understand

**Experience**:
Experience in a gym or similar reception position is preferred, but as long as you are friendly and confident with customers and can have a good chat, you will learn the rest

**You will need to have and supply the following**:

- Current First Aid and CPR Cert
- A police check

**Salary**: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
