Hearts & Science is a leading global communications planning and buying media agency part of the Omnicom Media Group. An opportunity currently exists for a Planning Assistant to join our team in an entry level role to support media for some of Australia's most recognized brands.

Simply put, we manage the strategy, planning and buying of media for some of the world's largest advertisers and most iconic brands. We work with some of the best creative minds in the world to deliver media solutions that span across all offline and online media channels (television, radio, cinema, press, OOH, digital) and continents. What does a Planning Assistant do?
As a Planning Assistant, you will develop expertise in all facets or media through on-the-job and off-the-job training. As you develop in your role, you will be offered opportunity for guided interactions with both clients and publishers.
You will play a vital role in providing support to the broader team across all facets of planning, from reporting, through to stakeholder management. Every task needs to be completed with enthusiasm, accuracy, and high levels of attention to detail.
Key day to day tasks
- Actively participate in client workshops and brainstorming sessions for client briefs.
- Grow and maintain good media relationships through active networking both internally and externally
- Prioritize regular check-ins with your manager and ensure agency processes are understood.
- Understand the role of each channel within the media landscape
- Utilize relevant media systems (BCC, AQX, Roy Morgan, Move, etc) to develop insights relating to Target Audience and competitive reporting

At this stage of your career, there is little experience required, it's all about attitudethe tools and training programs are there to help you succeed.
