The School of Medical and Health Sciences at Edith Cowan University (ECU) is looking for an experienced administrator to join the Operations Team as a Coordinator. This role is responsible for effectively providing a broad range of administrative roles, function and services to the School Executive, and the mentoring and day-to-day lead of the Academic Administration side of the Operations Team.
The portfolio of responsibilities may include School Executive support including diary management, HR and payroll related tasks, processes, and advice including recruitment; website; assets; overseeing financial processes; event coordination; staff and/or student travel; and Committee support. This position will suit an individual who is self-motivated and thrives on working in a busy and complex work environment.
There is a need to be flexible as you may be asked from time-to-time to cover tasks outside of your portfolio.
Experience in providing high-level administrative support to members of an Executive Team within a large organisation with attention to detail, accurately maintaining administrative systems and procedures;
Demonstrated experience in mentoring and leading staff;
Demonstrated experience with committee support;
Demonstrated high level organisational customer service and time management skills with the ability to prioritise numerous competing tasks with mínimal supervision to meet deadlines and ensure targeted quality outcomes;
Demonstrated high level of skills in using standard software and database packages, including MS Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and Adobe Pro in particular document formatting and collation;
Experience with coordinating events (room bookings, catering, scheduling etc);
Interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop good relationships and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry, Personal Excellence and Courage.

Benefits & Remuneration
These positions attract remuneration of $92,087 - $99,353 plus up to 17% University superannuation contribution.
