Teaching and Research Services Coordinator

The School of Medical and Health Sciences at Edith Cowan University (ECU) is looking for an experienced administrator to join the Operations Team as a Teaching and Research Services Coordinator. The School of Medical and Health Sciences offers multiple courses that require the students to attend Work-Integrated-Learning placements as part of their degree. This role will act as the liaison between internal and external stakeholders and is responsible for ensuring the work within the placement space is completed effectively and efficiently, and in a timely manner.
The portfolio of responsibilities will include process review and improvement in our placements, research, and teaching and learning areas; website updates; overseeing finances related to our placements; event coordination; mentoring and day-to-day lead of the School Officers responsible for supporting these areas. This position will suit an individual who is self-motivated and thrives on working in a busy and complex work environment.
There is a need to be flexible as you may be asked from time-to-time to cover tasks outside of your portfolio.
Experience in providing high-level administrative support within a large organisation with attention to detail, accurately maintaining administrative systems and procedures;
Demonstrated experience in mentoring and leading staff;
Demonstrated high level organisational customer service and time management skills with the ability to prioritise numerous competing tasks with mínimal supervision to meet deadlines and ensure targeted quality outcomes;
Demonstrated high level of skills in using standard software and database packages, including MS Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and Adobe Pro in particular document formatting and collation;
Demonstrated high level of skills in using SONIA software;
Experience within the health sector may be advantageous;
Experience with coordinating events (room bookings, catering, scheduling etc);
Interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop good relationships and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Benefits & Remuneration
This position attract remuneration of $88,973 - $95,993 plus up to 17% University superannuation contribution.
