**Legal Assistant/Paralegal **to join this Industry Leader recognised for its innovation, passion and to delivering the best possible outcomes for their customers.

As the In-house Legal Assistant/Paralegal working closely with the Legal team that comprises of a General Counsel, two Legal Counsel, a Legal Executive & a Paralegal and as a key member of the Legal Team you will be responsible for providing the highest level of support to ensure everything runs smoothly.
If you pride yourself on your ability to be one step ahead, you'll definitely relish this opportunity to use your initiative on a daily basis as assume responsibility for;
- scheduling meetings, arranging travel and extensive diary management
- word-processing documents and drafting own correspondence including a range of legal/court documents including contracts, pleadings, statements of claim, witness statements, statutory declarations and affidavits;
- Assist with employment matters/documents including employee policies and procedure manuals.
- Assist with settlement negotiations and preparation of settlement agreements
- Assist with the drafting of contract administration guidelines and preparation of training sessions, including scheduling and maintaining accurate registers and attendees.
- assisting with precedent development and maintenance
- accounts, invoices and expenses
- Liaising with clients
- filing and records management
- Legal research
- Organising events & marketing
- other ad hoc and general administrative tasks
A major component of this role is liaising with internal and external stakeholders on a national and international level and as such the ability to develop relationships at all levels is critical to the success of this role.
**Skills and experience we'd love...**
- demonstrated experience in a similar role working for Senior Management or a Legal Department - Legal secretarial experience is a MUST
- exceptional inter-personal and communication skills
- well-developed time management and organisational skills
- a high level of diplomacy, tact and discretion
- initiative and flexibility
- advanced MS Office skills, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
