EML is a leading **Workers Compensation** and **Personal Injury Claims Management** business. The purpose of this role is to support the Claims team by providing up-to-date technical guidance on the Insurance for NSW scheme. The Insurance for NSW Scheme provides a range of insurance cover and services for participating Government ‎agencies such as NSW Police, Fire & Rescue NSW and Department of Health.

This will be a **permanent** position based in the **Sydney** office, with flexibility to work from home.

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Providing technical support to claims teams about the claims management process in line with the applicable legislation
- Reviewing and providing feedback about current claims management practices and procedures ensuring emerging trends are identified and managed
- In conjunction with the Team Leader identify, develop and implement effective strategies to support the achievement of key performance and remuneration measures
- Building and maintaining strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders

**ABOUT YOU**
- Strong technical experience within the workers compensation scheme
- Experience in the Workers Compensation industry managing claims within all or most claims management segments
- Experience in managing relationships and competing stakeholder priorities
- Experience in coaching and supporting others
