**About You**
- You have minimum tertiary degree and current full registration with APHRA or eligible for membership of relevant professional body as a Social Worker, Dietitian, Occupational Therapist, Registered Psychologist or endorsed Clinical Psychologist, Registered Nurse with post graduate qualifications relevant to the specialty and at least three years full time equivalent post graduate experience either working within Mental Health and/or Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services or a specialist Eating Disorder Service.
- You possess demonstrated knowledge of disordered eating, body image and related social and cultural issues with extensive understanding of the clinical expertise required in the identification, assessment, diagnosis, care planning, management, treatment in young people.
- You have demonstrated clinical expertise and clinical leadership in mental health, including ability to develop speciality clinical practice and service delivery and provide consultation on care of complex patients in the community and inpatient setting.

**Where you'll be working**

Join the CCLHD as the Eating Disorder Early Intervention Clinician, covering the entire district, often located at Toukley Health Centre, where there is parking available with highway access. This role focuses on enhancing non-specialist services to deliver early identification and treatment for young people with eating disorders. They will also provide senior clinical leadership in developing and delivering specialized eating disorder services for children, adolescents, and their families. Additionally, they will promote cultural change and awareness in understanding about eating disorders

This role involves providing specialist eating disorder services, liaison and consultation regarding the management of children, adolescents and young people with eating disorders and their families in both community and hospital based settings, including local or tertiary mental health inpatient units. The clinician will collaborate with tertiary hospitals in Sydney and Newcastle in the transfer of care of young people back to the Central Coast.

This role has good career support and progression with NSW Health offering bespoke professional and clinical development packages to support you in transitioning careers or to further develop your specialist clinical skills and competencies in the area of eating disorders. This position will receive a comprehensive education, clinical mentorship and professional development package tailored to the needs of the individual and the position.
