**About You**
- You have Bachelor Degree in Social Work or Psychology, full registration with AHPRA or eligible for membership of AASW and hold a NSW Driver Licence with willingness to travel for work.
- You possess extensive specialist knowledge in providing culturally responsive, child centred and family focussed counselling that is trauma informed and evidenced based as well as a demonstrated understanding of contextual and causal factors for sexual harm.
- You have demonstrated effective time management skills, capacity to prioritise competing demands, managing and responding to self and colleagues in complex and/or stressful situations.

**Where you'll be working**

The Clinical Lead
- Sexual Harm and Safety is responsible for the clinical leadership, support and supervision of clinicians providing specialist interventions to children, young people, adults and their families who have experienced sexual assault or where they are under the age of 10 and exhibiting problematic and harmful sexual behaviours (PHSB).

The Clinical Lead, will have specialist knowledge in trauma recovery and family focused interventions and will support and mentor staff to ensure the service provides evidenced based, trauma-informed and culturally safe care and intervention to clients and their families.

The position provides clinical leadership and coordination of the Safe Wayz Program which is an integrated program, within Sexual Harm and Safety, that provides training, education, support and clinical interventions to government, non-government organisations and families where there is identified PHSB. The program adopts a family-focused and culturally centred approach to working with children and their families to prevent PHSB from escalating.

There is a state-wide clinical network and support to undertake this work including cultural and clinical supervision and training.
The position will work closely with the Program Manager to support the day-to-day operations of the Sexual Harm and Safety Service and will hold a small clinical case load.

They will actively support their team to be innovative, culturally safe and evidence based to develop and deliver effective and sound interventions that operationalise the NSW Health Prevention and Response to Violence Abuse and Neglect (PARVAN) Framework, Service Standards and relevant Policy and Procedures.
