**About The Centre**

Thrive Waterloo, located on the edge of the city is accessible via public transport.

The leadership team values the importance of a healthy work/life balance which is shown through their effective teamwork in sharing responsibilities.

The team in Waterloo have on going support from their Area Manager, Centre Leader, Assistant Centre Leader and Educational Leader who encourage and empower all educators.

**About The Role**

We have an exciting opportunity for an Early Childhood Teacher to become our Educational Leader.

This position would suit someone with experience in programming and the ability to inspire, motivate and maintain a positive learning culture within the centre for children, families and educators.

**Your main responsibilities will be to;**
- Support educators to assess each child’s learning and development in relation to the approved learning framework, other contemporary theories and the Thrive curriculum
- Support educators to critically reflect on each child’s learning and development and on their own pedagogy as part of everyday practice
- Reflect on educational pedagogy as part of everyday practice
- Maintain a positive working relationship with all team members
- Maintain effective communication with parents
- Uphold strong work values with a focus on being your best by doing your best

- Bachelor in Early Childhood Education and Care qualification or Diploma qualification
- NESA Teacher Accreditation (ECT only)
- A current NSW Employee Working With Children's Check
- Sound, practical working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) & National Quality Standard (NQS)
