We now have an opportunity for a Bookkeeper to join our tight-knit Finance team, as part of our growing business. You will be accountable for accurate and timely processing of the company payroll, ensuring compliance with all relevant Awards and legislation as well as all Accounts Payable invoice processing.

We’re a growing business, so our weekly pay run covers about 90-120 staff each week across Australia and New Zealand.

If you’re not already, you’ll soon become very familiar with working on Employment Hero (HR & Payroll System) as well as Xero, our AP system.

You will also:

- Support internal and external audits
- Conduct regular internal checks on payroll procedures and records
- Work closely with the Payroll Manager to ensure best practice process and compliance
- Support other teams when required by answering queries and providing data when appropriate
- Quarterly BAS returns

- Experience in payroll processing
- Accounts Payable experience
- Experience in New Zealand payroll would be highly beneficial, but we are happy to teach the right person
- Spreadsheet skills are highly regarded (we use Excel and Google sheets)
- Previous experience of Employment Hero will help you hit the ground running, but we are happy to teach the right person
- Most importantly, we are looking for someone who aligns with our values
