**About the role**:
This Permanent Full-time opportunity in Canberra, ACT offers a unique position within the MacKillop National After-Hours Services Unit. As a key member, you'll play a crucial role in creating a safe and nurturing environment for young individuals, supporting their growth and wellbeing. The position involves roster-based hours from 5 pm to 7 am.

**Key Responsibilities**:
You'll be instrumental in guiding young people, developing independent living skills, and ensuring their rights are protected. Your commitment extends to maintaining connections with significant people and places in their lives, fostering positive identity development, and involving them in decision-making processes. Your 'Roving' responsibilities across Residential units will provide a diverse experience, while meticulous record-keeping and client feedback processes enhance the quality of care.

**Key Selection Criteria**:
To succeed, bring your previous experience in youth services or residential care, effective communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to confidentiality and organisational values. Availability for after-hours responsibilities is essential.

**Requirements**:

- Valid and current Driver’s Licence;
- Satisfactory Criminal History Check (paid for by MacKillop);
- Valid Employee Working with Vulnerable People Check;
- Valid and current NDIS Workers Screening Check
