As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated **Retail /Hospitality Manager**to join our leadership team.

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Retail/Hospitality Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our food retail and hospitality business. This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership, business acumen, and the ability to manage both in-store operations and external market sales.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and evaluate the operations of the retail and hospitality business
- Lead, supervise, and train staff to achieve performance and service targets
- Manage inventory, stock levels, purchasing, and supplier relationships
- Organise and oversee local weekend and public holiday food market stalls
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, food safety, and company policies
- Handle customer service, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner
- Prepare staff rosters, manage recruitment, and conduct performance reviews
- Monitor and analyse sales performance, budgets, and profitability
- Implement marketing and promotional activities to increase sales of semi-cooked pastry and dumpling products
- Work closely with our chef/director to develop and expand takeaway pastry and dumpling product lines
- Contribute to business planning and the development of future franchise opportunities in the hospitality sector

Skills and Experience Required
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in a management role within the retail or hospitality industry
- Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in hospitality, business, or management (degree from an Australian university highly regarded)
- Strong business and analytical skills
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, staffing, and inventory control
- High level of problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays as required
