**The Role**: This newly created Manager, Gated Assurance position plays a key role in the overall success of eHealth Queensland's delivery portfolio.
We are seeking an experienced Manager, Gated Assurance with strong leadership, stakeholder engagement and communication skills to lead the gated assurance service within the Delivery Services Branch.
Is this opportunity for you?As the Manager, Gated Assurance, you will:

- Set the strategic direction for Gated Assurance and actively manage the team, clearly articulating services, functions and key activities in line with organisational priorities.
- Lead the end-to-end internal or external gated assurance process, including assurance profiling, planning, independent gated assurance reviews and health checks, and ensuring action plans are in place and are being acted upon, monitored and tracked within agreed timeframes.
- Identify, select and manage appropriate assurance reviewers for activities/projects/programs, which may include external suppliers of assurance services.
- Provide advice to key stakeholders relating to effective program and project gated assurance to ensure effective decision-making and project delivery.
- Analyse program and project assurance and identify key risks, issues and mitigation strategies to be addressed at the portfolio level.
- Monitor and review project assurance activities to develop practical and effective processes and recommendations for continuous improvement in accordance with relevant policies, standards and frameworks.
- Review critical project/program artefacts to identify, examine and analyse assurance actions, and provide solutions to ensure best practice compliance and alignment with the department's strategic objectives.
- Undertake and support departmental, whole-of-government and internal delivery portfolio reporting, and analyse the condition, status and overall delivery of programs and projects with respect to assurance.
- Provision high-quality, trusted and accurate advice, analysis and recommendations to Delivery Services Branch Executives and the eHealth Queensland Board of Management on assurance compliance, risks and issues, trends and lessons learned.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships with customers and other work teams responsible for ensuring compliance with assurance management practices.
- Prepare presentations, briefs, reports and other relevant correspondence for executive management and project stakeholders.
- Build a high performing team culture where individuals are valued, supported and provided with clear direction.
