
Team Leader

As the Team Leader for Future Student Enquiries, you will take on a hands-on, people-centered role. On a daily basis, you’ll oversee our Future Student Enquiries function, directly managing a Coordinator and Senior Officers, while leading a team of up to 20 individuals dedicated to supporting ECU’s growth objectives.
**What You’ll Do**:
**Provide Leadership**: Offer overall guidance to the team, ensuring clear direction and support while focusing on performance improvement.
**Drive Growth**: Align with the University Strategy to achieve growth targets in key student segments, with an emphasis on conversion and effective pipeline management.
**Foster Continuous Improvement**: Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement within the team and department, enhancing process efficiencies and customer experiences.
**Collaborate with Stakeholders**: Engage directly with university stakeholders to foster collaboration and achieve outstanding joint outcomes.
**Embody Leadership Principles**: Inspire your team to excel daily by living out the Leadership Principles and setting a positive example.
**Be an Ambassador**: Serve as a representative of Edith Cowan University, showcasing the values and vision of the institution.
**Manage Omni-Channel Engagement**: Balance service delivery across multiple channels, guiding your team to provide exceptional customer support through each platform.
**Key Criteria**:
Previous experience in a people leadership role (at least 2 years)
Proven results in leading a team in a sales capacity, influencing outcomes and achieving targets.
The demonstrated ability to coach, lead, & provide feedback
Track record of working to & driving an uplift in key performance indicators
Great ability to balance resources in line with priorities
A clear commitment to driving a student first culture
A belief in staff engagement & development being an absolute focus
Previous experience working with Salesforce or equivalent CRM.
Strong ability to create relationships with key stakeholders
Background of continuous improvement & driving efficiency
You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry, Courage and Personal Excellence.
Benefits & Remuneration
This full time, 12 month fixed-term position attracts remuneration of $100,512 to $112,622 p.a (HEW 7) plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
