**Your day as an**Economist/Advisor**

Within the Centre for Economic Evidence the **Investment and Evaluation Policy Branch** has has stewardship of the NSW Government’s Investment Framework. You will work with a team of passionate economists and policy professionals to develop and implement whole of government frameworks, policy and guidance. This involves research, quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis on a range of issues that impact day-to-day life of people in NSW and extensive liaison with internal and external stakeholders.

**Achieve success as an**Economist/Advisor**

In this integral role there are a few things we would like for you to have to best support yourself and add value to the people of NSW.
- Knowledge of and/or professional experience in economics, public policy, evaluation or another relevant field. Relevant tertiary qualifications are highly regarded but not essential if knowledge / experience can otherwise be demonstrated.
- Demonstrated experience in developing policy, economic frameworks and/or the provision of economic advice and analysis.
- The ability to work across diverse policy issues to support economic and/or policy advice, with familiarity and experience in at least one of the following areas:

- policy development and analysis
- business cases
- economics
- evaluation
- cost-benefit analysis.
