**THE ROLE**

The SDA Coordinator is an exciting and diverse role that is critical to the success of state-owned Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA). The position manages requests for disability modifications and coordinates the refurbishment of properties to ensure the highest standard of SDA under the NDIS SDA provider framework. There is great scope to develop relationships amongst Homes Victoria, Supported Independent Living providers, residents, and their families.

**ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE**
- Coordinate and oversee maintenance and upgrade work in Victorian Government owned Specialist Disability Housing (SDA) properties including the assessment and approval of maintenance requests, emergency works, liaising with builders, contractors, residents and SIL providers.
- Represent Homes Victoria as landlord and SDA provider in relation to property management, including vacancy management, maintenance and works requests, residential tenancy issues, collaborative agreements and SIL provider requirements.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders and residents in relation to property management in Government owned SDA including liaison with the Housing Call Centre, Homes Victoria staff, SIL providers, residents, and various departmental program areas.
