**About Us**: Simply Seated is an event hiring company dedicated to creating memorable experiences for our clients. We are expanding our services to include a café that provides high-quality coffee and snacks for our guests. We are looking for a passionate and experienced barista to join our team.

**Position Overview**: As a Barista at Simply Seated, you will be responsible for managing the café independently, delivering exceptional customer service, and preparing a variety of coffee beverages and snacks. This role requires someone who is self-motivated, organized, and has a strong background in café operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and tea beverages, along with a selection of pastries and snacks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests.
- Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and tracking stock levels.
- Provide excellent customer service, including taking orders, answering questions, and addressing any customer concerns.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with the Simply Seated team to enhance the overall event experience for our clients.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a barista or in a café setting is required.
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment.
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and transactions.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and quality.
- Must speak English
