The Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Phase 2 Program will be managed by the Digital Health Director as the Program Director. The Director is supported by the Senior Project and Testing Manager and a team of six experienced Project Managers that will lead and support the preparation, Go-live and optimisation of EMR Phase 2.1 that will expand the current EMR functionality to clinical areas including:

- Emergency, Medicine and Access (1 role available)
- ICU and Critical Care
- Surgery and Anaesthesia
- Women’s and Children’s
- Specialist Clinics
- Cancer Services

The Clinical Informatics Analyst is responsible for providing clinical best practice advice to support the clinical transition activities that will facilitate the implementation, adoption and use of the functionalities of the EMR Phase 2 solutions.

The Clinical Informatics Analyst position will be required to communicate key components of the program to fellow staff, articulate workflows and benefits to clinical peers, and to drive clinical change management and adoption.

The Clinical Informatics Analyst will be required to consult with staff to identify, assess, plan and communicate clinical adoption issues to help ensure the EMR Phase 2 solutions are implemented to provide the highest quality of care possible to patients of Western Health.
- At a high level, duties include evaluating clinical transition requirements, Go-Live readiness planning, Go-Live preparation activities, participate and conduct training, and effectively communicating with clinical users.
