**What's the role on offer?**

Based at the Brisbane Airport, this full-time role reports to the Senior Base Engineer (SBE)/ Line Maintenance Manager (LMM) and works alongside the Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) to ensure the compliant, safe, and efficient completion of maintenance tasks. As an **AME (Mechanical)**, you will support the operational safety and reliability of the fleet, ensuring strict adherence to company procedures and safety standards. As the **AME (Mechanical)**, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Perform maintenance tasks safely and efficiently, following approved procedures.
- Communicate defects and updates to the supervising LAME promptly.
- Ensure accurate documentation of all tasks and compliance with engineering instructions.
- Handle tools and parts correctly, maintaining control and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment and adhere to WHS guidelines.
- Promote and uphold safety, security, and environmental compliance across all operations.
