The University of Wollongong (UOW) Library plays a pivotal role in supporting the university’s mission by offering essential services that empower our diverse academic community. As a digital-first library, we are passionate about ensuring equitable access to information and fostering collaborative spaces where staff and students can achieve their aspirations.

We are seeking a Client Relationship Officer to join our Client Service team to provide high quality, efficient and effective services across multiple service points to our diverse clientele. This position will engage directly with students, staff and stakeholders, addressing their needs and creating exceptional service experiences.

A key focus of this role is the ability to communicate clearly, both in writing and verbally, build strong relationships and collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery. You will engage with technologies that support service delivery, including providing basic IT and print support and provide training and guidance to peers, ensuring the team is equipped with the skills needed to deliver high-impact services.

The Client Relationship Officer will be required to resolve complex client issues, particularly related to access, fines and membership, and ensuring clients are connected with the appropriate resources and information. Relevant qualifications and/or experience in Library and Information Services with skills in library-based information technology infrastructure such as online systems and platforms will be highly regarded.
