**About the Role**:
We are currently seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Disability Support Worker to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality support to individuals with disabilities, including assistance with personal care, managing behaviours of concern, and promoting independence and community inclusion.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide respectful and professional personal care assistance.
- Support clients with challenging behaviours using proactive, person-centred strategies.
- Foster independence and participation in daily routines and community activities.
- Maintain clear, respectful, and effective communication with clients, families, and team members.
- Follow individual support plans, behaviour management strategies, and health care protocols.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience with personal care and behaviour support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Current First Aid & CPR certification.
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Current Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle (preferred).
- Relevant qualification in Disability, Individual Support, or related field (desirable).

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 24 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- On call
- Weekend availability

Licence/Certification:

- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
- Working with Children Check - Employee (preferred)
- First Aid and CPR Certification (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
- Fire Safety Training (preferred)
- Infection Prevention and Control Certification (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: Remote
