**The opportunity**:
A dynamic and inclusive team within the Australian e-Health Research Centre is seeking an Implementation and Engagement Lead spanning across their Sparked AU FHIR Accelerator and the National Clinical Terminology Service (NCTS) team. If you have implementation expertise with strong collaborative efforts to advance the development, implementation management, and governance of open data exchange standards and clinical terminology standards in line with Australia’s healthcare system's evolving needs, then this job is for you. This role will demand active coordination and engagement with the leads of the two programs to enhance stakeholder engagement and facilitate the development of user stories, workflows, and value sets for new use cases and provide clinical terminology implementation expertise, contributing to the NCTS Implementation and Outreach activities.

**Your high-level duties will include**:

- Engage with stakeholders to coordinate the creation and dissemination of information through various communication channels
- Build and maintain strong relationships with critical stakeholders through regular communication, feedback mechanisms within the program.
- Implement mechanisms for collecting feedback and analysing the feedback from stakeholders.
- Address concerns and issues raised by stakeholders and facilitate discussions and negotiations to resolve conflicts and build consensus.
- Plan and regularly report on the progress and outcomes of project activities and propose improvements for the future.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops to elicit requirements, develop use cases and understand stakeholder priorities and preferences.
- Be accountable for the quality of the results delivered, the alignment of the project activities with the business, research and/or technology directions.

**Location and office arrangements**:Brisbane (Herston site) preferred; Open to Sydney (Westmead site) or Melbourne (Clayton site) with hybrid working options available

**Salary**:Au$131k - Au$153k per annum (pro-rata for part-time) plus up to 15.4% superannuation

**Tenure & work schedule**:Specified term of 3 years until 30/06/2028 & full-time

- Relevant diploma/bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience in the medical healthcare domain.
- Strong understanding of clinical healthcare practices, workflows, clinical data, key stakeholders and governance related to the Australian healthcare.
- Experience in leading projects in the digital healthcare environment.
- Proven negotiation, consultation, facilitation and effective written and oral communication skills for use in a complex project environment.
- Strong implementation experience of SNOMED CT in clinical electronic medical record systems.
- Experience in digital transformation and process improvement.
- Understanding of FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources).
- Experience running large clinical workshops.
- Experience working with clinical peak bodies, the clinical software industry and government agencies.
