Are you up for a challenge? We at 1st People are, and our client has challenged us to find them the right person to fill this exciting contract role. Our client is a Federal Government Department seeking manual and automation Test Leads and Test Analysts. The location of work is on-site in Canberra.

Your responsibilities will be:

- Develop test plans, test scenarios and/or test scripts
- Write detailed test cases and review and execute complex manual and automated test cases.
- Undertake testing activities, including functional, integration and regression testing for each release cycle
- Report and track the resolution of defects/issues as they are found in testing.
- Develop test reports as required
- Experience in an Agile Testing environment
- Collaborate and work closely with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to achieve quality project outcomes by assisting with the management of test plans and schedules for each release
- Contribute to team improvement initiatives and projects, including team tools, process changes, test automation and assist with defining requirements for the test environments.
- Manage the timely delivery of testing outcomes and the quality of testing processes, including assisting with undertaking test effort estimation and managing resources to ensure project deliverables are met.
- Complete status reporting and regular updates to Program Manager and Project Manager, and other generic Team lead responsibilities

Most specifically, our client is seeking someone who has the following experience and qualifications:

- Demonstrated experience in writing test frameworks and processes, including test plans, test cases, test execution and reporting
- Experience working in an Agile team environment
- Relevant ICT qualifications
- Experience in automation testing, including design and development of automated test cases using tools (Desirable)
