**Elevate Your Career: Allied Health Assistant Role with SA Health**

As an Allied Health Assistant, you will provide in-home care to older individuals with complex needs, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team for assessments, rehabilitation, and care planning. Your role focuses on optimizing patient management, establishing community support networks, and facilitating suitable accommodation through assessments and treatment plans.

**About the role**:
Reporting to the Manager - Virtual Rehabilitation and the AHP3 Physiotherapist, some of your duties as the Allied Health Assistant may involve:

- Assisting patient preparation for therapy and at the conclusion of therapy
- Assisting patient in personal care needs to maintain privacy, cleanliness and dignity before, during and after therapy interventions.
- Accurately maintain documentation under the explicit direction of the supervising Allied Health Professional.

**About you**:

- Must possess or be undertaking a Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent.
- Demonstrated aptitude for work in a healthcare environment.
- Ability to work under close supervision and direction from Allied Health Professionals.
- Ability to attend to routine work on a daily basis.
- Ability to use documented resources such as policies and procedures and work instructions to enable safe work practices.
- Previous experience in an Allied Health Assistant role an advantage.
