We are currently on the look out for an amazing Contract and Commercial Manager for a 12-month contract with an exciting client

This is a hybrid role Our client has offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra and Adelaide.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide advice and support in connection with a range of contracts, including drafting and reviewing change control notices research and contract interpretation.
- Establish and maintain excellent business relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Handle new and add-on business with existing customers, based on current Master Agreements or Government Panel Contracts.
- Develop and execute negotiation strategies that minimize potential losses and benefit the organization's financial performance.
- Monitor deadlines on deliverables and communicate on an ongoing basis with business partners and internal clients about contractual issues.
- Provide ongoing expert advice to account teams regarding legal and commercial implications of specific terms and conditions in contracts.
- Monitor adherence to client policies, procedures and processes.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Bachelor of Laws or other Bachelors' degree, diploma or certifications and government or major corporation experience.
- Contract and commercial drafting and assessment experience required, including a level of client (internal or external) engagement.
- Experience working on IT integration contracts or construction-style contracts would be highly regarded.
- Experience dealing with Australian Government contracting (State, Federal and Defence), including government clearance would be advantageous.
- Ability to work remotely and within a team, build relationships with other business functions and become a trusted advisor (legal, finance, compliance etc).
