Female Disability Support Worker

**About the Role**

We are seeking experienced, **female** Disability Support Workers who are **LGBT+ inclusive** and confident working with **complex and challenging behaviours**. You will be supporting individuals in leading independent and fulfilling lives through personalised, high-quality care.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide direct personal care and support
- Assist with **ADLs** (Activities of Daily Living), including hygiene and personal care
- Meal preparation and dietary assistance
- Help with domestic tasks and daily routines
- Support participation in community, social, and recreational activities
- Administer medications and monitor health status
- Report changes in behaviour or health to supervisors
- Collaborate with your team to help our participants achieve their goals

**Essential Skills & Qualities**
- Strong English communication and interpersonal skills
- Physically fit and able to perform manual handling
- Knowledge of ADLs and experience with personal care
- Confident managing complex behaviours
- Empathetic, reliable, and proactive
- Able to work independently or as part of a dynamic team

**Requirements**:

- Relevant qualifications or currently studying in a related field
- **Experience with complex behaviours**:

- Blue Card & NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current **First Aid & CPR** certifications
- **Valid Driver’s Licence** (front & back)
- **Proof of work rights in Australia**:

- **COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate**:

- **NDIS Orientation Module completion**:

- Comprehensive **Car Insurance** (if driving for work)
- Clean **National Criminal History Check**:

- Flexibility to work across varied shifts, including **weekends and evenings**

Pay: Up to $41.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 35 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Night shift

**Experience**:

- Caregiving: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 100% (preferred)
