**About us**

The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) is a jurisdiction within the Court Services Victoria statutory authority, and has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state.

The Court determines in excess of 300,000 cases per annum at 51 courts, equating to approximately 90 per cent of all cases that come before Victorian courts each year. The Court aims to be an innovative, accessible and responsive court that provides quality services to the Victorian community.

**About the role**

The primary responsibility of this role is to support the delivery of program objectives, goals, and initiatives related to service improvement and delivery across all functions of MCV. This role is responsible for the formulation of project documentation, collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring that initiatives remain supported, communicated, and are delivered in a timely manner.

The Project Officer will:

- Develop, design and implement change activities to support organisational change and program initiatives.
- Drive accountability and engage with initiative owners to ensure they are meeting their deliverable milestones, achieving their specific targets, and receiving the support required.
- Support the organisation to reach its full potential in line with MCV's Strategic plan.

This role sits within Innovation and Service Experience unit, reporting directly to the Program Manager.

**About you**
- Experience and knowledge in project management or change management in a service delivery environment is desirable
- Be able to successfully engage with internal and external stakeholders to achieve effective outcomes.
