**The Opportunity**

This is a fantastic opportunity for self-motivated individual to join the team as Proposal Coordinator.

Working with Proposal Manager and Program Manager, this role will be responsible for assisting with the facilitation and coordination of energy infrastructure opportunities, ensuring submissions for all customer proposals and bids are in accordance with Transgrid’s framework and policies.

In addition, the successful incumbent will be responsible for assisting the business in terms of data management and cost controls, ensuring details are accurate and up-to-date and assisting with report generation.

In this role you will also have the opportunity to manage standard proposals from identification to execution, presenting an opportunity for career development.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

As a Proposal Coordinator you will:

- Manage proposals with the support of Proposal Managers/Program Manager from project identification to execution
- Establish new projects, including updating Salesforce opportunity data and creating bid plans, bid folders and bid documentation.
- Manage and update Salesforce system to reflect up to date opportunity pipeline status
- Produce regular business reporting on customer and pipeline trending around bids and pricing from business systems
- Develop high level proposals and leverage the business technical capability to enable successful proposals and contract development with customers
- Develop sound relationships with internal/external stakeholders that support the growth of the infrastructure business
- Template management and library management - SharePoint - Updating Bid Team Library and updating Bid team SharePoint page
- Provide feedback to internal stakeholders on organisational and process issues to reduce proposal delivery timeframes and increase organisational effectiveness

**Skills & Experience**

What we expect from you:

- Tertiary qualification at Degree level in a relevant discipline or equivalent industry experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Sound knowledge and experience with relevant MS Office software
- Knowledge and experience with Salesforce, preferable
- Excellent time management and the ability to manage through competing priorities under pressure
- Demonstrated ability to interact with internal stakeholders and customers at all levels
- Good interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills to win sales opportunities and build ongoing customer relationships
- Relevant systems knowledge and solid personal computing skills
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
- Good business sense, trustworthiness, dedication, creativity, professionalism, and strong work ethic
- Ability to prepare accurate, concise, and considered documents
- Ability to show initiative and have a business and customer focus
