**About The Role**
The role of the Portfolio Implementation Associate is to support the Portfolio Implementation Manager in executing changes to our portfolios and manage the portfolios’ reporting requirements.
**Responsibilities**:
- Once a decision to make portfolio changes has been made, the Implementation Associate needs to execute trades efficiently and accurately.
- Changes are made to the underlying funds, ETFs and ASX securities held in the portfolios.
- Prepare and check portfolio changes files to assist in the execution of trades via the platforms.
- Post-trade checks ensuring accuracy of trades.
- Post-trade portfolio structure updates.
- Complete and publish post-trade reports.
- Work closely with the investment analysts to deliver regular platform reports.
- Updating the portfolios’ structure on iRate - our proprietary online portal for financial advisers.
- Assist with portfolio onboarding process for the platforms.
- Manage the platform’s reporting requirements such as monthly & quarterly performance reports and annual due diligence reviews.
- Assist with updating portfolio collateral.
**About You**:
- Previous **(1+ years) **experience in relevant work industry
- Understanding of the services of an asset manager, research house, or fund manager.
- Excellent attention to detail - a strong ability distil financial information down to key concepts and convey this in written form efficiently, clearly and concisely.
- Strong organisational and time management skills - meet deadlines and coordinate and manage various tasks at a time (and reprioritise as new tasks come to hand).
- A clear and demonstrable understanding of investment markets and major asset classes within the funds management industry, with a particular strength in and understanding of asset allocation.
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as autonomously while taking responsibility for meeting personal objectives.
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat
- A demonstrable interest in finance and investment
**Essential qualifications**:
- An undergraduate degree in a business or mathematical based discipline (science or engineering) e.g. BComm, BBus, BA, BEc, BSc, BApSc
**Highly regarded qualifications**:
- Honours Year
- Master of Business Administration / Economics / Commerce / Applied Finance
- Post Graduate Diploma in Finance / Management / Commerce / Financial Planning
