Melbourne, Australia Carlton Club Full time

The Carlton Club is looking for a new bar supervisor. Located in the heart of CBD, The Carlton Club is an iconic Melbourne institution. This multifaceted business has four bars in total and caters to for up to 1000 patrons, operating 7 days per week, and is a predominantly late night venue.

A minimum of 2 years bartending in a similar environment is required. Supervisory experience is preferred but not essential, above all we will be looking for a strong bartender with the right attitude.

You must:

- Be available on weekends and late hours
- Have and good understanding of beer, wine and cocktails
- Be a strong leader, you will be supervising up to a team of 7
- Enjoy a fast paced environment and work competently and professionally under pressure
- Be hard working, conscientious and enthusiastic
- Have a willingness to learn and develop with our company

What we are looking for:

- Previous restaurant or supervisor experience desirable
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Experience with a functions and client relations
- Previous experience as a bartender in a similar establishment preferred
- Previous experience with radios is an added bonus

Job type: Part-Time contract

Expected hours: 30-38
