**Job Description**:
**About this opportunity**

The Maintenance Manager role will be hands on and has responsibility and accountability for partnering Amut and Starlinger on the installation and commissioning of this site, and ongoing performance of the Laverton operational running of the equipment.

**Your key responsibilities will be to**:

- Primary responsibility for the maintenance budget, planning and execution, ensuring smooth commissioning, and ongoing operation including preventative and emergency maintenance
- Ensuring adherence to WHSE standards from installation, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance
- Strategic and tactical responsibility for implementing engineering strategy focused on Quality, cost, delivery, maximising efficiency, optimising and driving engineering excellence
- Annual budget maintenance preparation and management
- Lead, coach and coordinate activities of the maintenance department, driving a culture of preventative maintenance, providing excellent levels of machine availability
- Drive and lead efforts for continuous improvement to engineering and production efficiencies
- Ensuring reliability and maintainability of all equipment is at or above target levels
- Conduct route cause analysis and investigations of safety and environmental incidents and breakdowns
- Identify and implement "value add" strategies/systems/processes/tools that drive asset reliability improvements and the maintenance department proactively from the outset

**Your skills and experience**

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

- Demonstrated commitment to safety and embedding “Toward Zero Harm” mindset
- Solid experience in a similar position
- Experience in Plastics manufacturing and/or recycling is desirable
- Experience in installation and commissioning of similar CAPEX projects
- Demonstrated ability in leading high performing teams

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor of Engineering or trade qualification
