As the Terminal Build Program Manager, you will be partnering with business stakeholders for the overall strategy development and be responsible for the delivery of the Terminal Build Program across Qantas Freight.

In this newly created role, you will lead the concept design and delivery of the Terminal Build strategy across multiple sites, in line with the business vision. An opportunity to provide leadership for all aspects of the projects including governance, resourcing, business case, stakeholder management, communications and project management. This will see you working closely with a cross functional group of stakeholders both internally and externally.

In addition, you will lead all aspects of commercial negotiations, work in collaboration with external providers to outline concept design and implementation needs by adopting global best practice initiatives. You will be accountable for the timely completion of workstream deliverables, timeline, scope and budget.

The Terminal Build Program Manager will have an eye for identifying key project risks, decision points and improvement avenues with the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels including Senior Executive level to ensuring the successful delivery of the Terminal Build Program.

You’ll have
- 8 years’ experience in Project Management Delivery- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Project management, Change management or related accredited certifications.- Prior experience in managing projects in the Aviation industry beneficial.- Air Freight and Logistics domain experience with an airline or Freight Forwarder beneficial.- Strong background in Commercial Strategy and experience in forming strategic programs- Significant experience in managing cross functional projects which involve multiple and diverse business teams and stakeholders.- Strategic thinker, with an ability to understand & interpret issues, propose creative solutions & clearly communicate these to different groups of stakeholders.- Strong business acumen with a practical focus as well as a commitment to business improvement and ability to deliver results.- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capability to interact effectively with senior management through formal and informal networks.
