What’s the job?

Reporting to the Head of Future Student Growth and Onboarding, the purpose of Schools State Lead will be responsible for building strong relationships on behalf of Torrens University in order to achieve its strategic goal of recruiting high-quality applicants throughout Australia.

Schools State Lead Victoria will own a territory or region of high schools and cultivate good working relationships with high school principals, career counsellors, and/or teaching staff, to plan and facilitate events and other initiatives in order to obtain quality leads for each college in the TGE Australia network, these leads will be co-worked by the Digital FSA’s. You will also be responsible for delivering targeted student enrollments through the management of Tertiary Admissions Centers. This is primarily a field-based business development role as well as a marketing role that has one key objective - to meet achievable sales targets.

Day-to-day accountabilities:
- Develop and execute the account plan for the territory, segmenting and prioritising high schools and contacts (Victoria eastern and north east of Melbourne plus identifying further opportunities)- Build relationships with key contacts within the territory to sell TGE Australia’s entities and gaining quality leads from Year 10 to Year 12 students for the inbound FSA team to nurture & convert-
- Build a comprehensive knowledge of TGE Australia’s portfolio and be able to present on sell each individual college- Contribute to monthly sales reports to monitor progress toward yearly sales targets-
- Ensure all follow up activities are completed within prescribed timeframes- Achieve conversion rates at all steps of the admissions cycle- Supporting the Student Recruitment Team with Pathway Channels and generating alternative method for enrolments.- Identifying opportunities to enrol Teachers and ESO’s into Education vertical suite of courses via business development.

This is a permanent position based in Victoria where you will be required to work from Flinders Street Campus in a hybrid arrangement as you will be on the road for the majority of the week. A full driving license and own transport is required.

Who you are- Tertiary qualification (desirable)- Knowledge of VTAC - Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre preferred- Knowledge of secondary education preferred- 2-5 years + experience in a sales role, ideally field-based- Intermediate to advanced competency in the use of MS Word and MS Excel- Competent in the use of content management systems (Salesforce)- Admissions experience within HE and /or VET sector (advantageous)- Marketing experience also well regarded- Strong oral and written communication skills- Strong relationship development and management skills- Presentation skills- Time management skills
