We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Finance and Cost Control Analyst to come in on a 6 month fixed term contract. In this role, you will be responsible for providing essential project accounting and cost administration support, contributing to the success of our various projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the Commercial Lead to manage finance and cost control reporting for Alliance and miscellaneous projects.
- Oversee and administer financial matters for the project including monthly reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Ensure accurate project cash flow reports and support cost code managers.
- Handle weekly timesheet management for the project
- Assist with month-end processes, including accruals, journal transfers, and project invoicing.
- Prepare consolidated financial reports detailing project status and projected cost to completion.
- Liaise with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure compliance and effective financial management.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Qualification in Business, Accounting, or equivalent (mandatory).
- High proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- 3 plus years of experience in project cost control, finance, and financial reporting systems.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present data effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Contractual and commercial awareness.

Preferred Qualifications:

- CA/CPA certification highly desirable.
- Experience in project accounting concepts and various project types (e.g., lump sum, design and construct, alliance).
